We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to join our team in Savannah and play a key role in ensuring accurate project planning, execution, and client satisfaction. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, managing bid packages, and supporting projects from pre-construction through completion. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions for electrical construction projects used by management in preparation for the bidding process.
Prepare detailed electrical estimates based on limited conceptual design information.
Prepare estimates and determine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for electrical construction projects.
Ensure that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before the bid deadline.
Maintain documents on estimates.
Primary resource to project managers during the award and start-up phase to clarify any issues in the estimate.
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, summary, and material pricing of electrical systems.
Regularly reporting to Management and keep clients up to date on project status.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Participate in Project Site Walks
Maintain existing and develop new client relationships.
Assist with training of junior level estimators.

Requirements:
BA/BS degree in construction management, engineering, or a relevant field (Preferred).
3-5 years’ electrical construction estimating experience (Required).
Proficient with NEC / OSHA / 70E.
Advanced knowledge of blueprints, specifications, and proposals.

Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.

About the role:
Our Utility Services Division is seeking an experienced Distribution Engineer to work with us in one of our two Georgia offices in Savannah or Augusta. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple projects including service design, estimation, and coordination of construction for residential, new business, government, commercial, and industrial projects (both overhead and underground).
Design and evaluate electrical power systems and distribution circuits for both low and high voltage, adhering to current utility standards.
Work closely with permit agencies, right-of-way specialists, system owners, field leaders, forestry experts, and third-party owners for joint-use pole permits.
Ensure quality control and promote safe work practices while maintaining compliance with project timelines, budgets, and scope.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams (sales, coordinators, billing, and leadership).
Conduct site visits, perform inspections, identify hazards, and ensure engineering designs align with construction requirements.
Provide customers with project updates, schedule changes, and progress reports.
Develop accurate design cost estimates, ensuring all materials and labor are accounted for.
Manage design/engineering/estimating deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
Review and reconcile construction charges upon project completion.
Close out jobs in a timely manner and ensure monthly compliance.
Assist other departments with project designs, site assessments, and project closeouts as needed.
Perform reviews of other engineers' work, ensuring accuracy in submittals such as structural analysis, guying calculations, conductor sag calculations, voltage drop assessments, and flicker evaluations.
Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and safety standards.
Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent utility design experience.
2-5 years’ experience in electrical distribution, power systems, or related engineering fields.
Proficient in electrical distribution design, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
CAD or GIS proficiency is a plus.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. IEEE, NEC, OSHA).

Description:
As a Field Service Generator Technician, you will be responsible for accurately troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing power generation and distribution equipment while making repair recommendations to customers. You will perform warranty work per manufacture’s guidelines, perform start-up/commissioning on new generators and generator systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance on emergency power systems. This position requires working alone or with other Field Service Generator Technicians to ensure all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Install, diagnose, repair engine driven and electrical industrial generators, transfer switches, and switchgear systems
Must have the ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, load bank, and have knowledge of Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS’s) and generator controls
Diagnose and inspect systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating operational condition, identifying necessary repairs, failures, and recommend preventive maintenance
Perform preventative maintenance on generators and other related equipment contracted through Current Edge Solutions
Repair or replace defective electrical or mechanical parts, as required to bring the equipment up to specifications
Provide written field service reports to customers at the completion of all services
Explain and defend warranty decisions; generate and communicate service bulletins to customers
Manage projects, as assigned and provide guidance, assistance, and training to other technicians
Assist other technicians with large multi-person jobs or troubleshooting complicated issues
Provide superior customer service by answering any questions/addressing concerns, providing appropriate documentation and explanations of service such as parts used & work performed
