About the Project

Clayton County EV Bus Chargers

Our Electrical Contracting and Electrical Engineering teams partnered with Centennial Contractors Enterprises to deliver a major infrastructure upgrade for Clayton County Schools. The project focused on installing fast electric vehicle (EV) chargers at three school bus depot locations, giving the district the resources it needs to support its growing fleet of electric school buses.

At each site, our team installed ChargePoint EV chargers to provide reliable and efficient charging. We also added new 800-amp distribution panels to power the stations and completed the necessary electrical upgrades to support future expansion.

By modernizing the power infrastructure and adding fast-charging capabilities, this project helped Clayton County Schools take an important step toward sustainable transportation and reduced emissions, ensuring cleaner, more efficient operations for years to come.
